Self-aligning Ball Bearing
Self-aligning ball bearing are bearings equipped with spherical bearings between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring of a spherical raceway.
The outer ring raceway surface’s curvature center is consistent with the bearing center, so it has the same aligning function as the automatic aligning ball bearing.When the shaft and the outer shell flexed, it can be adjusted automatically without increasing the bearing burden. The self-aligning ball bearing can bear radical load and axial load in two directions.Large radical load capacity, is suitable for heavy load and impact loads situation. The inner ring diameter is the bearing of the cone hole, which can be installed directly, or installed on the cylindrical shaft with adapter sleeves or withdrawal sleeves. The cage uses steel stamping cage, polyamide forming cage and titanium alloy turning cage.
The self-aligning ball bearing has two structures: cylinder hole and conical hole, and the material of cage has steel, synthetic resin and so on. It is characterized by the outer ring roller is spherical and has automatic aligning, which can compensate for the error caused by different concentricity and shaft deflection, but the relative inclination of the inner and outer rings should not exceed 3 degrees.
It can bear a large radical load, but also can bear a certain shaft load. The outer raceway of this kind of bearing is spherical, so it has aligning function. When the shaft is bent or inclined by force, the relative inclination between inner center line and outer center line does not exceed 1°-2.5°, the bearing still can work.
The self-aligning ball bearing has two kind of inner holes: cylindrical and conical. The taper of conical inner hole is 1:12.
