Adapter Sleeve

• One of the most commonly used bearing accessories is the adapter sleeve, which is used to fix the tapered bore bearing to the cylindrical journal:

Smooth shafts

Stepped shafts

• This attachment is easy to install and does not require the use of other devices to fix it:

When used on smooth shaft, the bearing can be fixed to any position on the shaft.

When the adapter sleeve is used on the stepped shaft, it can be used in conjunction with the L-shaped spacer ring to fix the bearing more precisely to the given position on the shaft, so it is easy to install and remove the bearing.

• Our sleeves provided metric adapter sleeve with metric inner holes or British adapter sleeves with imperial inner holes. The adapter sleeve is slotted and provided with locking nut and locking device:

 Use nuts and locking washers for smaller sizes.

For larger sizes, use nuts and locking clasp or locking plate.

• Adapter sleeve for filling oil

Install and remove bearings using oiling.

Equipped with necessary oil supply pipelines and oil distribution groove.

Standard for metric adapter sleeve with aperture ≥ 200 mm (size ≥ 44)

Optional configuration of metric adapter sleeve with apertures from 140mm to 200mm.

Optional configuration of inch set sleeves with aperture ≥ 4 5/16 in. (size ≥ 26)

   Includes the OH (metric) series, OSNW and OSNP (imperial) series

• CARB ring roller bearing tightening sleeve

Specially designed to prevent the integral locking device from interfering with the cage, the setting sleeve for CARB tapered roller bearings is available in three variations:

 Adapter sleeve with suffix E

1.Equipped with KMFE locking nuts instead of standard KM locking nuts and MB locking washers. 

     Equipped with HME locking nuts instead of standard HM 30 or HM 31 locking nuts.

2. Adapter sleeve with suffix L

     Equipped with KML locking nuts and MBL locking washers, both with low sectional height, to replace standard KM locking nuts and MB locking washers.

3.Adapter sleeve with suffix TL

     Equipped with HM 30 locking nuts and MS 30 locking clamp, both with low sectional height, replacing the standard00HM... T locking nuts and MB locking washers.

     When using CARB bearings, it is necessary to check whether the space on both sides of the bearing can meet the axial displacement.

• Adapter sleeve for sealing bearings

1.Specifically designed to prevent the integral locking device from interfering with the seals of sealed spherical roller bearings and sealed self-aligning ball bearings.

2.There are model suffixes E, EL, EH, L, and TL.

3.Adapter sleeve assemblies with EL or EH are provided with one of the following components:

KMFE .. L locking nuts with shoulder diameter smaller than standard KMFE locking nuts.

KMFE .. H locking nuts with shoulder diameter larger than standard KMFE locking nuts.
